Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Music Mergers, the website at musicmergers.com and the Music Mergers mobile apps (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Music Mergers.
• Give accurate information about yourself and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent your credits or affiliations.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion removes your profile and content permanently.

Community Guidelines — zero tolerance

Music Mergers is a professional network. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, message or upload anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful or discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
• promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• is spam, a scam, a pyramid scheme, or fraudulent (including fake gigs or payment schemes);
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights — only share music and media you have the right to share;
• shares someone's private information without permission.

Every post, comment, conversation, profile and opportunity can be reported from its "⋯" menu, and you can block anyone. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these guidelines, and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Music Mergers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it within the Service so it works as intended (for example, showing your posts to other members). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received in messages.

Opportunities and deals between members

Gigs, collaborations, sessions and other opportunities are arranged directly between members. Music Mergers isn't a party to those agreements and doesn't guarantee payment, quality or outcomes. Use good judgment and put important terms in writing.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, bulk-message, or automate access to the Service.
• Don't try to break, overload or get around the Service's security.

Ending your access

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that break these terms or the law, or that put other members at risk.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Music Mergers isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content and conduct of members.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we'll let you know in the Service before they take effect.
